Addressing Pelvic Floor Dysfunction:

Yoga can help individuals learn to contract and relax their pelvic floor muscles, and coordinate these movements with their breath, improving overall pelvic floor function. Yoga can be a helpful component of a pelvic floor dysfunction treatment plan, especially when combined with guidance from a pelvic floor therapist. Yoga's holistic approach to fitness, which includes breathing and mindfulness, can positively impact overall health, including pelvic floor function.

Mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression, are common among people with overactive bladder (OAB), but pelvic floor exercises, yoga, and treatment for OAB may help manage it. (Medical news today)
